Would be rad in 3D. The ultimate showdown... I can imagine the intro... As the white smoke appears from the chimney signaling the appointment of the new pope, the smoke slowly can be seen forming into the face of satan... Then as quickly as it arrived, it was gone. There is a storm coming...

EXT. THE VATICAN - SAME TIME
Camera drifts through the venerable bulding. Past Peter'sTomb... Past the Pieta (in the other order) and down into the bowels of the building to lost. Forgotten places... There, we see a group of cardinals prayong. Suddenly, one of them looks over in horror as he sees -- (one rule here. Let's keep the offensive stuff to a minimum here).

A slender-yet-curvaceous figure emerges from the car, professionally dressed in a black skirt & jacket, long black hair with sunglasses speaking rapid-fire Italian into a cellphone, walking towards the bronze gates as Swiss Guards within approach...

INT. VICTORIAN HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER
Our guys set up their equipment. It isn't the usual TV ghost trapping stuff. It's something different. Its nano dust. The idea is that it binds to spirits and gives them corporal form. A way of bringing them back. We see it begin to work.

The prisoner's body is found in cell 1223 C Block. It is ruled a suicide. The prison chaplain is called in. He comments on a chill in the air. He's seen a lot. Lots of suicides, but there's something wrong here. He returns to his office and prays.

Meanwhile... The ghost wanders. He read about the nanodust on the internet in the prison library. He is going to find out if it is true.

Citizens of Rio De Janeiro wake up to a horrifying sight. It is the statue of Jesus Christ bleeding from the hands and forehead. The stigmata. As the day wears on, it seems that his position has changed.

Meanwhile, a young woman passes over it on a transatlantic flight...

So that's where we are after the teaser. Demons and Cardinals working together... Ghosts materializing via nano-dust. A prisoner suicide leaving on a mysterious mission. A girl flying from Rio to Rome, passing the giant statue of Jesus in the harbor as he bleeds from his hands and forehead where the crown of thorns was.

the world is changing. Might move this over to the WikiFiki.

Meanwhile, Alex Spencer is kissing his wife and daughter goodbye as he leaves for work. He gets into his car and idlely turns on the radio. The announcer talks about the Rio phenomenon. Uninterested, Alex switches the station. R.E.M.'s "It's the End of the World (as we know it) comes on and Alex bops his head to the beat as he pulls his car out of the driveway - oblivious of the horrifying events that await him and will change his life forever.
